Westside High School is a 9-12 school with approximately 2,000 students. WHS strives to meet the unique needs of all learners. A hallmark of Westside High School is its unique modular scheduling. Instruction is delivered through large group, small group, laboratory and independent study where students can meet with teachers during the school day. Additionally, WHS offers more than 40 AP and Honors courses, a 1:1 iPad program, and more than 60 extracurricular clubs. Designated twice as “Best in the State” by Redbook and as a “Most Challenging High School” by the Washington Post, this two-time Blue Ribbon winner is nationally recognized as an academic leader and innovator. Westside’s celebrated music, art and athletic programs provide opportunities for students in state of the art facilities.
