DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Loveland Elementary is one of three original schools that collaborated in 1947 to form the Westside Community School District. Today, its Tudor facade fronts a K-6 elementary school serving 310 students. The mission of Loveland Elementary is "to promote excellence and instill a desire for learning by challenging each individual within a safe, supportive environment". Loveland’s staff is committed to academic excellence and self-discipline. Academic goals are based on district outcomes, board adopted curriculum, best practices, and analysis of student data. Goals for self-discipline are supported through the district-wide emphasis on three expectations; Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible. A Community Club of involved parents helps provide opportunities for student participation in Art Smart, Battle of the Books, and our Student Council.
