The mission of Prairie Lane Elementary is to provide a positive, safe and supportive learning environment that prepares all students to reach their highest potential. Prairie Lane Elementary School was originally built in a quiet, residential neighborhood at the western edge of Westside Community School’s district boundary. Commitment to excellence for Prairie Lane Panthers begins early for the children enrolled in Prairie Lane’s accredited Early Childhood Center, and continues as the focus of K-6 instruction. It is an annual goal to partner with parent and community organizations to expand basic programs in the arts, sciences, music and technology to play a critical role in ensuring the best educational experiences for every child. From our award-winning teachers, to our district-renowned Channel 6th Grade News program, Prairie Lane is a place where children are loved and nurtured to reach their full potential.
