The Arapahoe-Holbrook Public School, District #18, covers about 368 square miles in Furnas, Gosper and Frontier counties. The District has a 2010-2011 assessed valuation of $210,933,314 and an enrollment of 290 students K-12. The district is fully accredited by the Nebraska Department of Education. The students in the Arapahoe-Holbrook Public Schools are served by 28 full or part time instructional teachers, three special education teachers, a Title I teacher, a library/media specialist, guidance counselor, two computer coordinators, three administrators, and 21 support staff. The District offers a variety of programs in addition to the regular course of study. These programs include a K-6 Title I program in reading and math, a birth to 21 special education program, preschool, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and a program for gifted and talented students.
