DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Southern Valley Jr.-Sr. High School is a 21 year old building that resides 10 miles south of Oxford Nebraska. The Jr.-Sr. High School sits evenly between the three larger communities of Oxford, Beaver City, and Orleans. The goal of the Jr.-Sr. High twelve years ago when the consolidation efforts began was to offer more curricular offerings and activities for the students in the area. Southern Valley has been a great success story and the students and communities have greatly benefited being involved in a larger school district that can offer much more curricular offerings. Southern Valley Schools number one goal is to educate the students the best way we can with the resources that are available to us.
