DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Lincoln Elementary School, home to the LIncoln Lions, opened in 1956, and prides itself on providing a creative, personalized, aligned curriculum through the use of high quality instruction and extended learning opportunities. Lincoln has approximately 255 students enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade with fourteen certified teachers and four full time paras striving to meet the emotional and learning needs of all students. Lincoln is a school-wide Title I building, providing support in the area of reading. Lincoln has traveling specialists for Physical Education, Music, guidance, library, and fifth grade band. Essential Learning assessments and the NWEA MAP assessments provide information for students, parents, and teachers on the progress of students in achieving state and local standards. All Lincoln students and adults take pride in their growth and learning each day.
