DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Lincoln Elementary School, home to the Orangemen, opened in 1956, and prides itself on providing a creative, personalized, aligned curriculum through the use of high quality instruction and extended learning opportunities. Lincoln has approximately 255 students enrolled in kindergarten through second grade with fourteen certified teachers and seven full time paras striving to meet the emotional and learning needs of all students. Lincoln is a school-wide Title I building, providing support in the area of reading. Lincoln has traveling specialists for Physical Education, Music, guidance, library, and stem. Lincoln is the ELL center Essential Learning assessments and the NWEA MAP assessments provide information for students, parents, and teachers on the progress of students in achieving state and local standards. Before and after school programs are offered for all students. A strong parent partnership is supported by use of a communication notebook.
