DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
The purpose of the Compass Learning Community (CLC) is to provide students a supportive and flexible learning environment that maintains high academic achievement standards and prepares students to successfully meet the challenges and opportunities of life after high school. CLC provides students with a rigorous, standards-based curriculum, as well as a structure and environment that balances individualized, student-directed learning and teacher-led, small group instruction. CLC allows for flexibility and choices for students for a personalized learning experience within a 21st Century Learning Community. CLC includes opportunities for career exploration and vocational training in order to connect classroom learning to real-life experiences. CLC students participate in all district and state assessments.
