DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Beatrice Community Preschool, serves the district’s youngest learners in a play-based, hands-on, positive, inclusive setting for all students. Beatrice Community Preschool serves over 200, 3 and 4 year olds, in both all day and half day classes. The preschool uses the frameworks of Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD and Early Learning guidelines to guide the learning targets taught each week. Beatrice Community Preschool strives to educate the whole child and focuses on developmentally appropriate learning and also social emotional learning and growth. The preschool is a collaborative effort of Beatrice Public Schools and Blue Valley Community Action/Head Start. At Beatrice Community Preschool we believe that all students can and should have the opportunity for a great start to their education!
