Howard Elementary School enrolls 401 students in grades K through 5. Ninety-two percent of Howard students qualify for free or reduced-price meals. The student body is served by 34 certified teachers. Howard believes in building young leaders through activities such as student council, Makerspace, the recycling program, and a run club. Before and after school academic and fitness programs are a strength of the school. At GIPS we empower educators to be instructional leaders, personalize learning pathways for each student, design decisions using data, and partner with our community. Our students are prepared to make positive contributions to society and thrive in an ever-changing world.
