Wasmer Elementary School enrolls 370 students in grades K through 5. Ninety percent of Wasmer students qualify for free or reduced-price meals. The diverse student body is served by 27 certified staff members. Wasmer has developed a strong community outreach program with events such as Community Math Night at a local grocery store and a Science Night sponsored by Nebraska Educational Television. At GIPS we empower educators to be instructional leaders, personalize learning pathways for each student, design decisions using data, and partner with our community. Our students are prepared to make positive contributions to society and thrive in an ever-changing world.
