DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Shoemaker Elementary School enrolls 375 students in grades K through 5. The diverse student body is served by 26 certified teachers. In 2016, 23,000 square feet of space was added to the building creating the ability to have four sections for every grade level. Shoemaker was named an Excellent School in 2018 through the AQuESTT Classification. At GIPS we empower educators to be instructional leaders, personalize learning pathways for each student, design decisions using data, and partner with our community. Our students are prepared to make positive contributions to society and thrive in an ever-changing world.
