Shoemaker Elementary enrolls 450 students from kindergarten to fifth grade who are served by approximately 30 certified staff members. Shoemaker staff strive to maintain a positive learning environment that fosters high expectations for student learning, respect for others, and developing students to their highest potential both academically and socially. At Grand Island Public Schools, we empower educators to be instructional leaders, personalize learning pathways for each student, design decisions using data, and partner with our community. Our students are prepared to make positive contributions to society and thrive in an ever-changing world.
