DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Westridge Middle School enrolls 680 students in grades 6 through 8. The student body is served by 52 certified teachers. Westridge is the site of the middle school Skills Academy, an intensive behavior support and intervention program. As a participant in Project Rachel, Westridge is actively working to promote positive school culture and prevent bullying. At GIPS we empower educators to be instructional leaders, personalize learning pathways for each student, design decisions using data, and partner with our community. Our students are prepared to make positive contributions to society and thrive in an ever-changing world.
