DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
St. Libory School is part of Northwest Public Schools, as a result of the passage of LB126, and had 157 kids during the 2021/2022 year. The school is located approximately 12 miles north of Grand Island on Highway 281. The staff consists of 14 full-time staff members with 2 of those individuals being shared with the 1R school. We have three, trimester teachers who work in all three buildings in the district as well. All of these staff members are certified. We have two full-time special ed instructors, one full-time secretary, one shared counselor, one shared nurse, five full-time and one half-time paraprofessionals that work in the building. Mobility in our district is low due to the fact that we have a very stable school population and the St. Libory community is stable and growing.
