DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Wood River Rural Middle School is fully accredited by both the Nebraska State Department of Education and Cognia. It is a progressive school that is 1:1 with iPads. The teacher to student ratio is very low. Student opportunities are endless while the facilities are outstanding with a very supportive community. The school district was formed in June of 2006 when Wood River Rural High School merged with Alda Elementary and Wood River Elementary. Enrollment for grades 6 - 8 was 124 students for the 2022 - 2023 school year.
