The Hampton Public School District #091 is a class III school located in eastern Hamilton County. The 2017-18 enrollment for Hampton Public School is 170 (PreK-12). The junior-senior high school has 77 students in grades 7 through 12. Hampton has experienced consistency with staff and administration. The teaching staff averages 16 years of experience in education and the administrative staff averages 22 years of experience in education. In May of 2016, the Hampton Public School patrons approved a 7.25 million dollar bond to renovate the 1958 elementary building and cafeteria. The bond also included new construction consisting of a kindergarten classroom, a special education classroom, music classroom, bathroom facilities, new locker rooms (that will double as emergency storm shelters) and a competition gymnasium. The building project was substantially complete on December 22, 2017.
