DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
The Aurora Preschool is for children who have been verified for special education services. Often services include special education and speech language therapy; however, physical therapy, occupational therapy, hearing servies and vision services are also available. Children must qualify for the program by meeting state guidelines. Preschool staff members conduct home visits for children from birth to age three. Preschool sessions are scheduled five days a week. The school may invite peer models to particpate in classes. The preschool is staffed by two full time early childhood educators, a speech-language pathologist, two para educators, and an occupational therapist, physical therapist who are contracted through Memorial Community Health, a deaf educator, and visual consultant.
