DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Hitchcock County Elementary School is located in Culbertson, NE and contains the grades PK-6. We are a Class D school located 11 miles West of McCook in rural Southwest Nebraska. The elementary offers specialty classes of music, physical education, art, Spanish, and computers. We are a school-wide Title One school. We are accredited and involved in a continuous school improvement process. A school bond was passed in November of 2012 and the building was completed in January 2013. The new school is climate controlled and ADA accessible.
