DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


SPH consists of approximately 195 students 9-12. The school provides a strong core curricula in math, English, science, and social studies. In addition, the school offers electives including: Spanish I/II, STEM, Business/Information tech., Industrial Tech., a plethora of Ag and FCS courses, Art, Band and Choir. The district also sends College Physics, College Algebra, and College Stats through distance learning. The district receives College Calculus I/II and College Composition 101/102. In coordination with Central Community College, students can participate in a Health Academy, as well as articulated and transferable courses. On-line courses are also available from multiple institutions. The district encourages students to participate in extra-curricular activities such as: sports, drama, music, and academic clubs. To foster positive student relations, the Respect Retreat, Homeroom time (3b), TEAMMATES, and Student Ambassadors are offered to all 9-12 students.
