The mission of Centura Public School, as an innovative educational system, is to provide for all students educational experiences that will prepare them for an ever-changing society. Centura is accredited through AdvancED. Our staff and students use data from formative and summative assessments over the course of the year to improve our school improvement goals. We have implemented a sixty-minute writing block K-6, and a 90 Plus minute uninterrupted block of reading time. We utilize the RTI process to meet struggling students academic and behavior needs. Our special education program is in an inclusive setting and we serve about 8% of our student population in this program. Centura's Vision is a School Community about students, excellence, and innovation and we strive every day to fulfill the vision.
