Johnson County Central Elementary - Tecumseh Site is a PK-3 elementary. The JCC - Tecumseh Site serves a diverse population of students in the Johnson County area from the communities of Tecumseh, Cook, Elk Creek, Talmage, Lorton, Vesta, St. Mary and Burr. Johnson County Central Elementary is committed to the success of its students through the use of best teaching practices, strong core curricular programs and multiple student resources. The JCC - Tecumseh Site is staffed by 9 core teachers, 3 resource teachers, 3 enrichment teachers, 1 special education teacher, 5 para-educators, 1 office manager, 1 guidance counselor, 1 principal and 1 superintendent, as well as food service, maintenance and custodial personnel. Johnson County Central Elementary also contracts for on-site services in occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech/language. All staff memebers are a part of on-going efforts to grow as educators and improve the educational experience for all students.
