The mission of the Axtell Community School is to provide a positive learning environment, inspiring students to become lifelong learners. Axtell Community School, fully accredited by the Nebraska Department of Education, offers a comprehensive Pre-K through 12 program. Axtell School has an enrollment of approximately 265 students and is designated as a Class C/D school for NSAA purposes. The district's organizational structure is K-5 elementary, 6-8 middle and 9-12 secondary. Test scores indicate that the Axtell Community School's students score well. Students score above the average level on NeSA assessments and on norm-referenced achievement tests. We also rank above average in student attendance, graduation rates, subject-endorsed teachers and expenditures for instruction.
