Lincoln High School is the oldest high school in Lincoln, tracing its history to 1871. This comprehensive 9-12 high school has a diverse student body of approximately 1600. There are students in gifted and college prep programs, about 200 students in ELL programs (English Language Learners) and students in the full range of special education programs. Over 35% of the students live in other attendance areas and choose to attend Lincoln High School. An International Baccalaureate Program is in place to provide a rigorous experience for students who want to be highly challenged. Students have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of activities outside the classroom in the areas of music, drama, art, journalism, speech, debate, athletics and club membership. Lincoln High School is committed to preparing each student to use multiple perspectives and individual talents to live, learn, and work in a diverse society.
