Belmont Elementary is a Title I School serving 700 multicultural students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. 20% of our students participate in the English Language Learner program. 79% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Specialists serve Belmont students in music, art, physical education, computer and media. At Belmont, we meet high learning and behavioral expectations. Special programs that are offered include Early Childhood Programming, Reading Recovery, math and literacy intervention support. Strong partnerships with families and the community help provide support for our learners and their families. Our Community Learning Center, created in partnership with the City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department collaborates with many service providers, organizations, agencies, businesses, and volunteers to help extend learning for Belmont children beyond the school day and the school year.
