Belmont Elementary is a diverse Title I School serving over 800 scholars pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. Currently, 100% of our scholars receive free or reduced lunch. Belmont is a school where high academic and behavioral expectations lead to high performance. Staff members are qualified and passionate about their content area. Specialists serve scholars in music, art, physical education, computer and media. Special programs offered include Early Childhood Programming, English Language Learner, Special Education, Gifted, academic/behavior intervention support, and family literacy. Strong partnerships with families and the community provide support for our scholars and their families. Our Community Learning Center, created in partnership with the City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department, collaborates with many service providers, organizations, agencies, businesses, and volunteers to help extend learning for Belmont scholars beyond the school day.
