DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Brownell Elementary School has two or three sections of each grade K-5. Students receive specialized instruction in technology, physical education, music, art and media. Brownell is a Community Learning Center school partnering with Northeast Family Center. Through our CLC before and after school learning is extended. There is also extended learning through the summer available. Students are able to extend relationships through Teammates and the Foster Grandparent volunteer programs. Brownell partners with families in 2 Gen Family Impact, where parents and staff learn together focusing on success for our students. Brownell School is organized into Professional Learning Communities/Data Teams that collaborate with a clear and consistent focus on students and their learning. Brownell's Mission Statement: "Becoming your BEST in the Brownell Learning Community. Believe, Excel, Succeed Together."
