Calvert Elementary is a Title I School serving approximately 390 diverse students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade and their families. Special programs include: Preschool, Early Childhood Special Education, Reading Recovery, English Language Learners (ELL), Response to Intervention (RTi) support, Special Education, Gifted, and a Community Learning Center (CLC). Calvert CLC supports learning before and after school. They also offer enrichment and academic clubs after school. Specialists serve Calvert students in music, art, physical education, computer, and library media. Community involvement is evident through parent volunteers, a strong PTSO, and our VIP partner, Union Bank. Calvert also participates in the America Reads/Math program that provides tutoring for our children.
