Hartley Elementary serves a diverse population of 381 students in an urban neighborhood setting. Our exceptional staff members provide quality educational services to students in Pre-School - 5th. 20% of our students receive special services while 21% participate in our ELL program. Students receive additional instruction in Vocal Music, Art, PE, & Media. As a Title I school, 85% of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch. We are rich in diversity: 41% percent of our students are White/Other, 12% African American, 27% Hispanic, 1% American Indian or Alaska Native, 4% Asian American, & 12% two or more races. Learning opportunities at Hartley include Reading Recovery, RTI programs, Technology Integration, Character Counts, Extended Day Clubs & a Community Learning Center. Hartley also has two preschool classrooms that serve 3-5 year old students.
