Hartley Elementary serves a diverse population of 410 students in an urban neighborhood setting. Our exceptional staff members provide quality educational services to students in Preschool - 5th. 22% of our students receive Special Education services while 27% participate in our ELL program. Students receive additional instruction in Vocal Music, Art, PE, Library, & Computer Science. As a Title I school, 87% of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch. We are rich in diversity: 41% percent of our students are White/Other, 18% African American, 25% Hispanic, 2% American Indian or Alaska Native, 4% Asian American, & 11% two or more races. Learning opportunities at Hartley include Reading Recovery, RTI programs, Technology Integration, PBiS, Extended Day Clubs & a Community Learning Center. Hartley also has two preschool classrooms that serve 3-5 year old students.
