DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Riley Elementary is a K-5 Title I building serving diverse families in north central Lincoln with approximately 350 students. We have three sections of each grade level and also provide specialized instruction in music, art, computer science, library and physical education. Riley features dedicated teachers, hard-working students, and supportive families. Our mission is to help our Riley students: IMAGINE the possibilities, BELIEVE in their potential, and ACHIEVE at their highest level. Riley strives to provide meaningful and challenging learning opportunities for all Riley students in a safe and positive environment. Riley staff, families, and students will share the responsibility for academic achievement, positive character development, and support of individual and cultural differences. As a Community Learning School, we partner with Family Service to provide before and after school programming to meet needs of students and families.
