DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Saratoga school serves children from Preschool, which includes children with special education needs, through Grade 5. Saratoga school serves an academically, economically, and culturally diverse student population. The school mission statement is: “The mission of every student, parent and staff is to learn. We know effort works and we give 100%!” During the 2000-2001 school year Saratoga was recognized as the "Title 1 Distinguished School" for Nebraska by the NDE, and as one of 95 Distinguished Schools by the United States Department of Education. Saratoga school focuses on improving the performance of all students in all math and literacy content areas. As a community we work with our parents and business partners to help our children to succeed. Our goal is to prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for their life after they leave elementary school.
