DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Kahoa Elementary, located in northeast Lincoln, opened in 1972 and is named in honor of longtime Lincoln educator, Mrs. Evelyn Kahoa. Our students, staff, and families were excited to return to our newly renovated building for the 2010-2011 school year. In 2022-2023, Kahoa's K-5 population totaled approximately 480 students. The average 2022-23, K-5th grade class size was 22-23 students. High academic and behavior expectations for all children contribute to high achievement scores. A devoted, enthusiastic, and talented staff provides quality instruction in a safe and caring environment. Kahoa offers multi-tiered level of supports for all students. Kahoa Elementary has strong parent involvement and an active and supportive PTO.
