DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Zeman Elementary school opened in 1974 and is named after Anna Zeman who was a teacher and administrator with Lincoln Public Schools for 40 years. Our mission at Zeman, in partnership with our community, is to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in a diverse society. Our staff operate within a set of core values that define who we are and why we do our work. Our vision is to eradicate disproportionately so all students perform at their highest level. We do this by creating a positive and engaging educational learning climate that produces positive outcomes. We provide a tiered system of support for both academics and behavior, which allows students to access additional services as needed. Schools are a special place where milestones are met and we are honored to provide the best opportunities for our students and families to thrive.
