DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Career Academy (TCA) is a joint partnership between Lincoln Public Schools and Southeast Community College. The mission of TCA is to prepare students for continued education and employment to contribute to the economic growth of their community. TCA offers high school and dual credit courses in 20 career pathways related to the 6 career clusters identified by NDE. Students attend TCA for two hours each day where they are immersed into pathway courses, hands-on experiences and real world connections. We further engage students through state of the art labs, multiple speakers, field trips, mentor projects and student organization competitions. The 120,000 sq. ft. facility is located on the Lincoln campus of Southeast Community College and gives students a great options toward employment, certifications, and 2 or 4 year degrees. TCA is simply a program within LPS so student information is not reported here but is included with the data of their home high school
