DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Norris Elementary School is AdvancED accredited and includes grades Preschool through Grade 2. Teams of teachers are responsible for the reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, science, and social studies program at each grade level. In addition students receive instruction in art, music, physical education, and use of computers and other technology. Norris Elementary School has a Title I program in reading and a special education program. The elementary building sits on the same 160 acre site as the intermediate school, middle school, and high school. Approximately 560 students attend Norris Elementary. The elementary building includes a music room, art room, media center, computer laboratory, gymnasium, and multipurpose room.
