DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Norris Intermediate School is AdvancedEd accredited and includes grades 3 through 5. Teams of teachers are responsible for the reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, science, health and social studies program at each grade level. In addition all students receive instruction in art, music, physical education, and use of computers and other technology. Norris Intermediate School has a special education program and a program for high ability learners. The Intermediate building sits on the same 160 acre site as the elementary school, middle school and high school. Approximately 520 students attend Norris Intermediate. The intermediate building includes a music room, art room, media center, computer laboratory, gymnasium, and multipurpose room.
