DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
North Platte High School is a comprehensive four-year public high school enrolling 1200 students in grades 9 through 12. The current building opened in the fall of 2003. The academic program is organized on a 4x4 block schedule. Students are enrolled daily in four 90-minute block classes. North Platte High School offers a wide-variety of programs from the basic subjects, Advance Placement courses, Foreign Language courses, Career and Technical courses, and College prep courses as well as Dual credit courses through Mid-Plains community college. Faculty members work together forming collegial relationships that positively affects each and every student. The North Platte High School faculty is a committed and dedicated group of professionals working to assist the youth of the North Platte community.
