Cody Elementary School is a friendly, welcoming, neighborhood school with a student population of approximately 275 students. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities where everyone can learn, grow, and succeed. Our staff continues to work hard to ensure academic success through the use of a curriculum; enhanced by the use of technology, differentiated instruction and hands-on, inquiry -based, cooperative learning. Cody Elementary designates 30 minutes every day to provide intervention and enrichment opportunities for every student designed to improve achievement. Our staff partners with our parents and help sponsor many activities such as, our Back to School Barbecue/Open House, PE night, a Family game night, Bingo for Books, Date Night with Dad, and a Talent Show. A Science Fair, Mini-Classes and various field trips are other opportunities offered at Cody.
