DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Bel Air Elementary is a K-4 facility. Bel Air has grown over the past years and will be at full capacity with around 375 students in 2018-2019. The curriculum covers a wide range of educational opportunities and includes careers, challenge (gifted), computer/technology, health, language arts (including listening, reading, writing, speaking), mathematics, multicultural education, music (vocal/instrumental), physical education, science, social studies, drug/alcohol awareness, guidance services, library skills, special education, and visual arts. Technology integration has been a priority in the district; technology is accessible to students in every classroom. Students in grades K-2 each have their own iPad and students 3rd-4th have their own chromebooks to use throughout the year. Parent involvement is encouraged through a parent-teacher organization.
