The mission of the Battle Creek Public School is to provide our students the opportunity to master the skills, acquire the knowledge, and develop the social/emotional behaviors and attitudes necessary for them to become productive and respectful citizens who can successfully meet the challenges of a changing society. The Jr.-Sr. High School [constructed in 2004] boasts of excellent state-of-the-art facilities, is a Class C NSAA Classification, is AdvancED Accredited, has 208 students and a full time principal; the elementary school [Pre-K through 6th grade] has an attendance of 205 students with a full time principal. Signs of excellence at Battle Creek Schools include a curriculum/assessment/technology directors, 1.5 counselors, 1:1 initiative for grades 6-12, five computer labs, computers in every room, a distance learning facility, Student Assistance Teams, and a trained Crisis Response Team.
