DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Sandy Creek Senior High School is a part of the South Central Nebraska Unified School District #5. It is a Class C-2 school located near Fairfield, Nebraska and includes the communities of Clay Center, Deweese, Edgar, Fairfield and Glenvil. Recently students moved into a new 10.5 million dollar addition that is called the NCAPS building. (Nebraska Center for Advanced Professional Studies) NCAPS is an example of how business, community, and public education can partner to produce personalized learning experiences that educate the workforce of tomorrow. NCAPS students use industry standard tools to solve real world problems. Students are mentored in a professional culture with actual industry experts during their 11th and 12th grade years. Students also have the use of 1:1 computers along with several elective class opportunities.
