Nebraska City High School is an AdvancED accredited school of 430 students in grades nine through twelve. Nebraska City High School operates on an eight period day in a one-to-one setting for expanded learning opportunities. Positive behavior reinforcement programs and peer mentor programs guide students in making the best decisions for academic success. Curriculum departments include English, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Special Education, Vocational Studies, World Languages, etc. Nebraska City High School offers advanced placement and college credit classes in numerous subject areas, English Learners, distance education, career academies, on-the-job training, and technology training opportunities. NCHS works with numerous local agencies to present post-secondary opportunities as well as provide college visits for every ninth through eleventh grade student. NCHS offers extensive, award winning, co- and extra-curricular programs.
