DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Holdrege Elementary School is a kindergarten through 4th grade learning space where all students can learn, achieve, and grow. In 2015, Holdrege Elementary School was built in place of three older buildings to give students the best learning environment possible. HES has been member of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement which is now AdvancEd. Holdrege Public Schools strive to provide a developmentally appropriate education for each student. Instruction is offered in all curricular areas, including reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education. Title I reading and math, Response to Intervention, speech, special education, gifted, and other programs are available to students. Technology is used in various subject areas to support the curriculum. Holdrege Elementary School is a place where all students have the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
