Loomis Public School is a D2 school located in south-central Nebraska. Loomis is a village with a population of 382 located in southwestern Phelps County. The Loomis Public School District encompasses 155 square miles of prime farming and ranching property extending 27 miles north and south and 18 miles east and west. The school has on average 225 students in attendance PK-12th grade. We are a one-track school with only one teacher per grade level in the elementary. Every elementary classroom has been completely updated with all new cabinets, windows and carpet. In 2016 the kitchen and cafeteria areas were completely renovated.
