DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The philosophy of Osmond Community School, with its emphasis on "community," is to provide an educational process related to the personal requirements of the individual student and the community it seeks to serve. Osmond Community Schools provides all students in grades 7-12 with 24/7 access to a chromebook. These are used to complete coursework via Google Classroom. All students participate in student learning teams where they learn about: digital citizenship; entrepreneurship; leadership; employability skills; career education; etc. Seniors and juniors are provided up to $1,000 by the district to take courses or programs that result in some form of credentialing. Seniors are encouraged to be out of the building on Fridays either attending college or working on internships.
