DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Columbus High School is a comprehensive high school that serves students in grades 9-12. The curriculum provides traditional core courses to prepare students for post-secondary experiences, yet offers students many options to explore and develop their individual talents. Students may choose from approximately 150 courses. Most required subjects are taught in a general and college prep format with both honors and dual credit college options. A wide-range of elective courses are offered to help prepare students for future career opportunities. Multiple career-related certifications and Programs of Study are offered. In addition, the fine arts courses provide experiences in vocal and instrumental music, theatre, and art. Columbus High School opened its doors as a new facility in the spring of 2017, including a state-of-the-art STEM Academy.
