DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Columbus Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 within three multidisciplinary teams at 6th grade, and two multidisciplinary teams at 7th and 8th grade. A broad exploratory program is offered, as well as core courses at various levels in language arts, math, science, and social studies. The mission of the Columbus Public Schools is to engage all learners to achieve success. The intent is to provide a student-centered learning environment which focuses upon continuous academic improvement.
