DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Lost Creek Elementary is a K-5 school with a growing enrollment of approximately 375 students. It is designed as a triple-track school. Students receive at least 90 minutes of reading instruction, 50 minutes of language arts insturction, and 75 minutes of math instruction daily. A new edition was completed in January of 2010 adding several classrooms, updating existing classrooms, and adding a gymnasium. In addition to classroom instruction in the core areas, music, physical education, and technology; support services provide instruction in the areas of language, reading, and special education. Lost Creek offers a Head Start Program. Lost Creek has an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Parents are encouraged to become active with the PTO.
