DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Platte Center Elementary School is located in Platte Center, Nebraska and includes grades kindergarten through sixth. Approximately, 121 students attended the school this past year. The school employs 9 full time and 5 part time certified staff in addition to a full time principal. There are also 9 non-certified staff working as secretary, library aid, SPED para-educators, and custodians. The student body is made up of 65% white and 35% minority students. The school has maintained enrollment this past year due to busing some students from the east side of the school district.
